Welcome Team 4!

It's Tuesday, and another group of Earthwatchers have found themselves in Monterey Bay in search of otters and dolphins. From left to right, Peter is my fellow Field Team Leader; Ashley is an animal science student at the University of California-Davis,;Celine is from Malta and was sent here on a fellowship sponsored by her employer, HSBC; Tom and Gail are joining us from up the coast in beautiful British Columbia; Andrew and Nick are best buds from the UK and Nick also received an HSBC fellowship to participate on the expedition.

Before our traditional Day 1 walk down to Lovers Point, we had a video-conference call with Danny! Although she could not be in the field this time, she can still join the project remotely through the power of technology. Daniela gave us a great introduction to the research project, why the science is important, and also why the project is important to her personally. Everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves and ask questions.
