What time is it?

After a walk, Peter gave everyone an introduction to the dolphin study and we had a fun practice session for when we are spotting marine mammals on the boat. "Over here!" and "There they are!" are typically the first things that will come out of your mouth when you see a dolphin or any other marine mammal. But those exclamations cannot quickloy indicate where the others should look. If you turn to look at the spotter, and then look where they are pointing, it is too late. The goal is to communicate immediately useful information to everyone on the boat, especially those who are looking through a camera lens and also, Sean needs to know where to position the boat. We use the clockface method (I don't really know what the proper term is). The bow of the boat is 12 o'clock, stern is 6 o'clock and aft part of the port side is 7 o'clock....dinner time!
